Privacy Policy
How OpenSky Intelligence collects, protects, and governs operational data and user information.
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 20, 2026
OpenSky Intelligence (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining robust operational security. This Privacy Policy governs our data collection, processing, and storage practices across our websites, AI systems, computer vision models, and professional services.
1. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all external visitors of our website, clients engaging our professional AI services, and entities interacting with our Edge and Cloud deployment infrastructures. It outlines how we handle personal data and operational metadata.
2. Information We Collect
To provide our advanced AI solutions, we collect two categories of information:
A. Personal Information You Provide
- Contact Information: Name, business email address, corporate telephone number, and postal address.
- Professional Credentials: Organization name, job title, department, and clearance or authorization codes where applicable.
- Inquiry Details: Message contents, technical requirements, project scoping documentation, and RFPs submitted through our secure channels.
B. Automated Telemetry & System Diagnostics
When interacting with our digital interfaces, our secure logging systems record:
- Connection Data: IP addresses, network signatures, TLS encryption handshakes, and access timestamps.
- Operational Telemetry: System performance rates, browser parameters, and network latency data to optimize edge communication portals.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly to execute core business functions and maintain security, including:
- Responding to Inquiries: Managing RFPs, scoping customized AI and drone deployments, and scheduling tech demos.
- Client Portal Security: Securing and auditing remote operations consoles, ensuring access protocols (e.g., clearance checks) are verified.
- Product Optimization: Evaluating system performance and real-time latency diagnostics to build more efficient computer vision pipelines.
- Legal Compliance: Satisfying regulatory mandates, government security guidelines, and federal agency auditing standards.
4. Operational Data & Custom Model Feeds
We adhere to strict data-segregation guidelines regarding custom deployment feeds:
- Zero Shared Data: Visual data feeds (e.g., video, camera streams, drone telemetry) utilized to train client-specific edge-processing models remain exclusively with the respective client.
- Air-Gapped Environments: We support completely air-gapped models that do not transmit tracking information or metadata back to our central infrastructure.
- Consent-Based Development: We never utilize client operational video feeds for commercial training purposes without explicit, bilateral written authorization.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
OpenSky Intelligence does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data or operational feeds with third parties for marketing purposes. Disclosures occur only under the following limited conditions:
- Authorized Subcontractors: Sharing technical parameters with vetted, secure technology partners under strict NDA protocols to complete hardware-software integration.
- Legal Compulsion: When required by law, subpoena, or government security authorities to safeguard national grid infrastructure or prevent imminent harm.
6. Enterprise-Grade Security Controls
We deploy advanced, defense-in-depth measures to protect your information:
- State-of-the-Art Encryption: All data transmitted to or from our systems is encrypted using TLS 1.3 and AES-256-GCM standards.
- Access Control: Internal access to system logs and customer portfolios is restricted via multi-factor authentication (MFA) and strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Security Audits: Continuous vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection systems, and annual third-party cybersecurity audits.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, support active service contracts, or comply with statutory legal records-retention requirements under Virginia and federal laws.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may hold the following rights:
- Access & Portability: Request a copy of the personal metadata we hold regarding your corporate profile.
- Rectification & Deletion: Request correction of inaccurate logs or erasure of contact history, subject to legal auditing exclusions.
- Opt-Out: Revoke consent for communications or telemetry logging at any time.
To exercise these rights, please submit a signed corporate request to ops@opensky.intelligence.
